Lo que no se ve -

What is not seen (2025)

Glass often mimics moments in the body: hard, fragile, hollow, and full of breath.

In Lo que no se ve - What is not seen, material becomes metaphor. Transparent structures hold hidden contents, forms echo the body, structures, cavities, and the built environment as it bleeds into the interior one.

A wood stud (2x4) made from networked glass. A mirrored intestine that winds like an foreign lifeform or organ; imbedded with industrial hardware. Nail clippings accumulated in a glass trash can.Black construction wrap, stuffed into a networked structure like a void packed tight.

These works explore what holds us up and what’s tucked away. They ask what it means to build a body, to inhabit a structure, to be seen and not seen. What does support look like when it's barely visible? What happens when the inside leaks out?

Included alongside these objects are images from the artist’s home environment where we unearth the connection between body, home and environment both inside and out.
